Catch up on the current Pippa
A quick route through the updated iOS and Android apps and clinician dashboard.
Returning after a break? Start with these workflows. This guide was checked against the current project on September 5, 2026. Installed app versions and deployed dashboard versions can differ.
Find your way around the dashboard
| Looking for | Open |
|---|---|
| Meal photos, written logs, and reflections | Food Log in the sidebar; Logs in the page heading |
| AI summaries, stored chat, and flagged content | Pippa AI, previously called Conversations |
| Weight prompts, app visibility, plans, and reminders | Customizations |
| Patient messages | Messages |
| Internal care-team conversation | Team Chat |
| Clinical notes and separately shared journal entries | Notes in the sidebar; Clinical Notes in the page heading |
| Care-team activity and consent information | History |
The 30d, 90d, and 180d controls below the patient header change the record window. They are separate from the History tab.
Know what changed in the patient apps
Both apps support clinic surveys, optional weight prompts, and display-language selection. Android has Google sign-in and push support; older documentation describing those as unfinished is out of date. Layouts and installed versions can still differ.
- iOS and Android: shared workflows and platform differences.
- Language and display: English, Spanish, French, Simplified Chinese, or the phone's language.
- Journaling and sharing: private by default, with a separate patient opt-in for care-team access.
Two visibility details to explain clearly
Patients see their weight while typing into an optional weigh-in. Saved weights and trends stay in the dashboard. This is different from Blind Mode, which changes visibility of meal history.
Clinical notes are shared with authorized care-team clinicians. Journal entries appear only after the patient separately opts in. The optional AI journal reflection sends text to generate a reply; it is not an on-device-only operation.
